You can order your repeat prescription through the NHS App and nominate Carrington Pharmacy as your chosen pharmacy. Once we receive your prescription from your GP surgery, our team will prepare it for collection as quickly as possible.
We can dispense your medication promptly depending on its availability, or order it if necessary. Medications that need ordering are generally ready for collection the next working day.
The pharmacy must dispense medication in line with the prescriber’s instructions. We cannot change the strength or quantity unless this is clinically appropriate and allowed within pharmacy regulations.
Use the NHS App to request your repeat medication before you run out. You can view available repeat prescriptions, submit your request securely, and send it to your GP practice for approval.
The NHS App may allow you to manage services for someone else, such as a child or family member, if your GP surgery has granted you proxy access. This can make it easier to support loved ones with their repeat prescriptions.
